Course description
Dental surgeries need focused and specific first aid and medical training in order to meet their particular standards. We offer two first aid for dentists packages that provide cost effective ways for dentists to meet their annual verifiable first aid training CPD requirement in the core subject of Medical Emergencies as determined by the General Dental Council (GDC).
Our Medical Emergencies course provides 4 hours of training.
However if your Dental Practice has, or is looking to purchase an AED our AED course (3 hour) provides a module focusing on the use of an AED. Both courses have been specifically managed to meet the GDC’s Verifiable CPD requirements and are in line with the Resuscitation Council guidelines for resuscitation and use of an AED.
The packages meet the criteria for verifiable CPD as stated by the GDC by providing:
- Concise educational aims and objectives
- Clear anticipated outcomes
- Course evaluation forms as a quality control mechanism
- Certificates that meet GDC Verifiable CPD criteria
