Course Description

The course is an EFAW + F, forestry specific first aid training course.

It is tailored to include the topics required by the Forestry Commission. It also covers the emergency first aid at work course content.

Who is the course suitable for?

This one day course is ideal for those working in the arboriculture and forestry industries who need to have the extra knowledge required.

What you will learn

Participants will be able to gain the knowledge they need in an easy, straight forward way. Dealing with the current EFAW course contents but also learning about the added subjects which include, hypothermia and Lyme disease. Theoretical and practical training combined to give those attending confidence to deal with anything.

  • Crush injuries

Assessment and Certification

Certification is dependent on successful practical and written assessment and certification will be through the FAIB and are valid for 3 years.

1 day (7 hours including breaks)
